Ken Tarsitano is the man behind the foundation of Flagler’s winery. Tarsitano and his family-owned 100- acre organic vineyard and winery in Ohio. They, however, had dreams of making wine at the beach. Starting Flagler winery at 611N Oceanshore BLVD Flagler Beach, FL 321136 saw their dreams come true. It was opened in March 2013.

Thanks to the success of this winery, Ken and his wife Kelly hope to continue expanding the establishment yearly. He does this by fostering great relationships with farmers who grow grapes in different locations across America. The family also tries to introduce a new bottle of wine to the market as often as possible.

The grapes undergo fermentation at the Flagler Beach location before pressing happens. The local community gardens benefit from the pressings before the wine-makers age the wine in premium oak barrels. Barrel aging takes a minimum of 12 months, and it can last for many years. Intensive testing and filtering are also conducted before the wine is bottled.
